Breathing Meditation and how to improve communication skills?

Subscribe Jyotindra Zaveri: According to physiology the basis of health are the nervous system and endocrine system. The basic requirements of spirituality are the balancing of vital forces. There are three streams of vital forces: 1.. The Lunar sound (Chandra Swar or Ida) Left 2.. The Solar sound (Surya Swar or Pingla) Right 3.. The Middle sound (Madhya Swar or Sushumna) The Lunar sound Chandra swar is associated with the activities of the mind. The Solar sound Surya swar with physical activities and the Middle sound madyaaswar with internal energy. When chandra swar is functioning the right hemisphere is active and when suraswar is functioning the left hemisphere is active. Kirti: How to awaken our vital energy? JZ: The problem or the barrier is short and shallow breaths. Until we learn to breathe deeply we cannot throw the toxins and replace them with vital energy. K: Can we do meditation with open eyes? And Why? JZ: Yes. When we focus on a thing, say a pencil, with open eyes, the breathing automatically becomes slow. You feel calm. Slow and rhythmic breathing is the most recommended exercise. Practice it. Perception of breathing It means awareness of every breath. This will lead to mental (or mind) awareness. Kirti: Let us discuss Communication Skills. How to master the skill of persuasion? JZ: Our activities are divided into two categories soft and hard. When we breathe through the LEFT nostril (Ida or Chandra) that is when the right hemisphere is activated. We should take undertake soft activities such as friendliness and the act of perception. K: And for debating or brainstorming? JZ: When we breathe through our right nostril (Pingla or Surya), that is when our left hemisphere is activated, we should undertake hard activities such as debating brainstorming etc. K: What is the best time to repair and do maintenance of the Digestive system and Breathing System? JZ: Vital Forces are available in the night time 9 pm to 11 pm for the Digestive system and Breathing System. The CM and PM are carried out by vital forces.
