Social Media LIVE # 55 broadcast excerpts

Social Media LIVE # 55 broadcast excerpts: Wednesday 8 August 2018. Pune.

Main points transcription given below, that were discussed during this free online training.

Topics discussed - Whatsapp multiple users video conference call, Cloud security, Google coming back in China, Collaborate not Compete, Keywords and Hashtags, IQ and EQ.

1. Today is Wednesday 8 August twenty eighteen and I am Jyotindra Zaveri, your friendly social media-marketing consultant and trainer.

2. What is cloud? When you store your data, pictures, video on cloud, where it actually goes. Up in the sky? No your stuff is stored in someone else computer! Whose computer? Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and so on. Is it safe? No, it is not safe. It can be hacked. Identity theft also happens.

[More importantly, when you are using somebody’s Server (does not belong to you), what rights you have to complain about security? If you feel insecure, stop using your mobile phone. Stop using internet. Because the moment you are connected on net, thousands of smart hackers are just waiting to pounce on your stuff].

3. Whatsapp competing with SKYPE? How? You can now make video call with MULTIPLE PEOPLE ON WHATSAPP.

4. Keyword or hashtag. Secret technique of Hashtag: After the main post content, add 5 - 10 keywords preceded by # sign (without space). Mainly there are three kinds of # tags.
1. Industry hashtags may not be directly related to what is in the post but are specific to the industry and clients you serve.2. Content hashtags should directly relate to the items in the post itself.3. Niche hashtags are specific to the CLIENTS you are trying to reach.

5. Jyotindra Zaveri suggests: Discuss with your internal team, you will be surprised you will have a good list ready after the brainstorming session. Now make a list of hashtags and keep it handy in a spreadsheet.
6. You may also use Instagram popularity count to decide important tags.
7. You will find popularity post count available only on Instagram. Use this to prepare your list of hashtags for Twitter, etc.
8. There are three kinds of hashtags:
1. Extremely popular hashtags:  100 K to 500 K posts associated with them. 2. Moderately popular hashtags: 10,000 to 100,000 posts associated with them.3. Niche-specific hashtags: 10,000 posts associated with them.

9. Jyoti Social recommends you to use few of each of above.

10. Another useful method is to find what others are searching is using this cool site by Google https://trends.google.com/

11. Chinese will be using Alphabet? Google is welcome back in China. Baidu CEO is preparing for the head-on collision with the giant. August 3, twenty eighteen, Google was seen in China ‘Digital Entertainment Conference’, at Shanghai. Looks like it will be a censored version of the search engine. Let us wait and watch what Baidu will be doing.

12. Last but not the least I would like to mention about IQ and EQ. Intelligence and skill to use Internet Technogym is a good idea. But along with that user should also know the EQ. Emotions.

a. Let me explain by an example. Greed is an emotion. Because of this bad people are able to cheat, by showing carrot of lucky price, gold etc. Greed.
b. Another example is that of anger, violence, and retaliation. Facebook is used in a wrong way. IQ and EQ both are equally important. I think you got the message.
c. Learn all social media marketing skill but along with that also learn what not to do. In ancient literature, Pragya word is used. That is use of your reasoning mind and not drives your action by only emotions.
-
13. All previous LIVE videos, since August 2017, links are published here on my website https://jyotisocial.net/social-media-live-video-jyoti-social/

14. आईए बातें करें. Let us discuss in Hindi also
15. Some talk in Hindi about collaboration and not competition between Indians professionals.

Bye! See you next week on Wednesday 15 August. Same time.
Thank you for joining.

Whatsapp not for Rumours

Whatsapp / Social Media is great for sharing useful information not for RUMOURS

Misuse of WHATSAPP is a challange

Whatsapp not for Rumours
Do you agree?
Use the internet technology with positive energy that will help all concerned people.
Blindly forwarding or sharing without knowing the source of information is not a good idea.

WhatsApp will limit forwards to only Five chats in India!

Globally, users will be able to forward a text to 20 chats. Forward fever needs to be curbed. Unlike Facebook group, unfortunately Whatsapp Admin do not have much control. Hope users in India will observe self control.

The Indian government has said WhatsApp users forwarding fake news to big groups of people led to a spate of lynchings.

WhatsApp will also bring a fake news verification model it recently used in Mexican general elections to India.

Read more at:
Economic Times

The Facebook-owned Whatsapp has changed to flag FORWARDED messages, which makes it clear when information is coming from another source. But WhatsApp's security features means the company cannot simply monitor messages for hoaxes.

Ways to get a Plastic- Pollution Free planet by Earth Day-2020

Every year 22nd April is celebrated as Earth Day!

This year’s theme: Ending plastic pollution by Earth Day 2020

Sharing TWENTY ways how each and every individual can contribute to this environmental cause

1.       Bring your own shopping bag : Instead of taking a
new shopping bag,Use your own reusable shopping bags.

2.       Stop buying bottled water: Avoid using plastic bottled water,
       keep a refillable bottle handy

3.       Choose cardboard over plastic bottles and bags:
Prefer using cardboard boxes instead of plastic bottles & bags

4.       Say no to straws: Whether for home use or when you’re
ordering a drink at a bar or restaurant, avoid plastic straws.

5.       Get the plastic off your face body washes that contain plastic:
Avoid using  face body washes or beauty products using
         “polypropylene” or “polyethylene”.

6.       Skip the disposable razor: Instead of tossing a plastic razor
in the trash every month, consider switching to a razor that lets
your replace just the blade or even a straight razor.

7.       Switch from disposable diapers to cloth: If you’ve got a young
baby, you know how many diapers can end up in the trash each day.
And all these add to the plastic trash.

8.       Re-think your food storage: Avoid Plastic baggies, plastic
wrap, and plastic storage containers for storing food.

9.       Shop in bulk: Shop in bulk to reduce the use of plastics.

10.   Use reusable produce bags: Try to use reusable bags instead
      of  disposing plastics every time.

11.   Give up Chewing gum: Remind yourself while buying a chewing
Gum, you are actually chewing plastics. It is neither good for you
      or for the earth.

12.   Buy boxes, not bottles: Buy laundry detergent and dish soap in
boxes instead of plastic bottles. Cardboard can be more easily recycled
and made into more products than plastic.

13.   Use reusable bottles and cups: Buy  prepared foods in glass
jars instead of plastic ones, which are reusable.

14.   Use matches: If you need to light a candle, build a campfire
or start a fire for any other reason, opt for matches over
       disposable plastic lighters.

15.   Skip the frozen foods section: Frozen foods offer both convenience
and plenty of plastic packaging. Better not to use them for
       the environmental health.

16.   Avoid using plastic wares: Say goodbye to disposable chopsticks,
knives, spoons, forks and even sporks to reduce your carbon footprint.

17.   Clean green: Try to keep your surroundings clean & green.
Do not throw plastic or plastic products here & there.

18.   Return reusable containers: When you buy something from
the market, simply bring the plastic containers to the market when
you need a refill. You can even ask your local grocer to take the
      containers back and reuse them.

19.   Pack a lunch the right way: Avoid packing your lunch boxes
      in Plastic bags.

20.   Use Cheap and natural cleaning alternatives: Avoid buying multiple
plastic bottles of tile cleaner, toilet cleaner and window cleaner
if you have a few basics on hand like baking soda and vinegar.

Lets join hands to
#BreakFreeFromPlastics
